It costs £8 ($11.30) to buy a bible, deliver and run the training per trainee. This can help transform the lives of the recipients by giving them not only the physical bible but training in how it can change their lives.
This gift often develops communities, builds strength in the local church and helps to guard against misguided false teaching and potential radicalizasion. Because of this we require each recipient to attend the training as part of their gift.
Each time we travel to an area we take the bibles, run the training courses and before we leave ensure each person is connected with the local church if they are not already to aid their development as christians.

I have known the Gichuru family for around 25 years and continue to support their work in Uganda as, over all that time, I have never had cause to doubt their integrity, commitment to the gospel and desire to be open and accountable in all that they do. In fact, I am regularly amazed by their selflessness and generosity towards others and have known them to go without so others could eat, get healthcare, etc. I have spent many weeks with them in Uganda, ministered in their churches and visited a number of their projects including schools and orphanages. I have had the privilege of hosting Gichuru and his wife Eunice at my home in the UK on multiple occasions. Seth also stayed with us for several years while he was studying in the UK. The Bible Gift Aid ministry is make a profound difference to people’s lives and I encourage you to support it, as every penny, cent or shilling raised goes towards the process of getting Bibles to those who have previously been unable to obtain one.
